No. The layout changes with the size. Mini and Slim Pocket Diaries use monthly block calendars. A6 adds a two-weeks-on-two-pages section, while B6 adds weekly planning and memo space. Choosing a Pocket Diary size is therefore also a choice about how much planning space you want.
Hibino is MIDORI’s detailed A6 daily planner, with two full pages for every day. Its pages include a 24-hour timeline and flexible space for schedules, notes, journaling, tracking and everyday records. Ultra-thin Tomoe River S paper allows MIDORI to fit 768 pages into a planner that remains practical to use.
Many MIDORI planner formats use MD PAPER, including the Pocket Diary and Book Style Diary. Hibino uses Tomoe River S paper, an exceptionally thin writing paper chosen to make its two-pages-per-day format possible without creating an excessively bulky planner.
Many are well suited to fountain pens and other everyday writing tools. MD PAPER is designed to resist feathering and bleed-through, while Tomoe River S paper is known for handling fountain pen, gel and ballpoint inks well. Because Tomoe River S is extremely thin, some writing may remain visible from the reverse side even when the ink has not bled through.
Bleed-through happens when ink penetrates the paper and appears on the reverse side. Show-through, sometimes called ghosting, is simply seeing writing through a thin sheet of paper. Some show-through is normal with Hibino’s ultra-thin Tomoe River S paper and is part of what makes its 768-page format possible.
