MIDORI Japanese Stationery, Planners & Notebooks
MIDORI has been making stationery in Japan since 1950, finding clever ways to make writing, planning and keeping track of daily life work a little better. That might mean the remarkably thin paper of a Hibino planner fitting two full pages into every day, a Yuru Log notebook made for easygoing journaling, washi letter papers with playful designs, or ultra-thin index clips that help organize a notebook without adding bulk. Across the collection, MIDORI combines Japanese paper expertise with a practical curiosity about the small details that make stationery more useful.

Always thinking about what stationery can do next
MIDORI began in Japan in 1950, making letter paper, notebooks and sketchbooks. Paper is still at the heart of the brand, but over the years MIDORI has become just as well known for finding inventive ways to make the things we use with paper work better.
That curiosity shows up in many forms: a planner that fits two full pages into every day, an index clip made thin enough to mark a page without adding bulk, or a notebook that makes it easy to turn everyday moments into a visual journal. Some ideas solve a small practical problem; others open up entirely new ways to write, plan and record.
Even the name has roots in this outlook. Midori means green in Japanese and was chosen to suggest the strength of a plant putting out new leaves. More than 75 years later, that same instinct to keep experimenting has led to new product lines, new formats and ideas that have grown into brands of their own.
