Product Story Mimosa is inspired by the decorated front doublure of The Sensitive Plant and Early Poems by Percy Bysshe Shelley, bound in London by Riviere & Son in 1910. Unlike the outside of a book cover, a doublure is the inside face of the cover board, a protected surface where binders could create a more intimate display of artistry.
At the center of the design is the sensitive plant, known for folding its leaves when touched, surrounded by richly colored flowers, foliage, and butterflies.
