Paperblanks Mary Shelley, Frankenstein 5x7 Midi Journal
About Paperblanks Mary Shelley, Frankenstein Hardcover Mid sized Notebook
Paperblanks worked with Bodleian Libraries at the University of Oxford to reproduce excerpts from the original manuscript of beloved English writer Mary Wollenstonecraft Shelley's (1797-1851) Gothic horror novel Frankenstein.
In 1816, Shelley and a group of other renowned Romantic-era writers visited the Rhine area and stopped near the Frankenstein Castle. Allegedly, two centuries earlier, an alchemist had conducted strange experiments there. It was upon Lord Byron's request for their group to compete and write the best ghost story.
Channeling her sorrow and guilt due to the passing of her child, Shelley composed her most famous work, Frankenstein. This text continues to speak to people of all ages as it touches upon timeless themes related to meaning and purpose.
